In recent days, the final preparations for the opening night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 have been rushed. On the afternoon of May 28, the organizing committee opened the stage and shooting range, and met with the competing teams for the press to record.

Host Vietnam opens 2025 fireworks season

According to the schedule, the host team Da Nang (Vietnam 1) will open this year's fireworks season with a performance called "Cultural Essence". The performance is elaborately staged, consisting of 4 parts and lasting more than 20 minutes.

To satisfy the audience, the show uses thousands of fireworks programmed with high precision, synchronized every second with the music to create a symphony of light and sound in the sky of the Han River.

The highlight of this year's performance was the harmonious blend of traditional Vietnamese music and famous international songs.

"With musical melodies and colorful effects, we want to introduce to international friends the advanced culture imbued with Vietnamese national identity," said Mr. Nghia Hoang, captain of the Da Nang International Fireworks Team.

As the reigning champion of DIFF 2024 and performing on the opening night, the JoHo Pyro Professional Fireworks AB team from Finland is being awaited by many audiences.

This year the defending champion will perform "Nordic Lights" inspired by the magical aurora borealis phenomenon in Northern Europe.

Through unique pyrotechnic techniques, JoHo Pyro promises to lead the audience to explore Finnish people and culture.

With the music of Stormskärs Maja , the Finnish team takes viewers back to the ancient lives of Finnish fishermen living on offshore islands.

Audiences can look forward to "light magic" combining high-altitude fireworks display techniques and unique water cannon effects - the strength that helped Finland conquer the judges last season.

Not only investing in technology, JoHo Pyro also made their mark with their very own musical taste, the vibrant and impressive rock and pop songs have become the team's trademark.

"This is more than just a show. This is a message of fire, a celebration of art, connection and the beginning of a new era" - shared the fireworks team JoHo Pyro.

The opening night of DIFF 2025 also featured the participation of many famous artists such as Tung Duong, Kieu Anh, Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, Thu Hang, MC Anh Tuan, MC Luong Thuy Linh...

In particular, DIFF 2025 applies augmented reality (AR) technology to the event for the first time. Audiences can directly interact with Da Nang's cultural symbols in an expanded virtual reality space, spanning an area of ​​up to 600,000m² with about 10 million pixels. This is a technological experience that has never been applied to previous fireworks festival seasons.

The opening night of DIFF 2025 will take place on the evening of May 31 and will be broadcast live on VTV1 from 8:10 p.m. The event will be organized by the Da Nang City People's Committee with the support of Sun Group.
