Many activities to care for and support women in difficult circumstances

(CT) - In the first 5 months of 2025, through many practical forms, the Women's Union at all levels of Binh Thuy district continued to assist 48 near-poor households with women (currently, Binh Thuy district has no more poor households with women).

The District Women's Union and grassroots associations mobilized the donation of 1,620 gifts, with a total value of over 603 million VND. The grassroots associations coordinated with the People's Committee and local organizations to mobilize the donation of 3,154 gifts to care for women, children, poor and near-poor households on holidays and Tet with a total value of over 1.1 billion VND; mobilized 2,950 cases of members buying new and renewing health insurance; mobilized support for the construction and repair of 4 Charity Houses for female members with housing difficulties, with a total value of 243 million VND.

The Women's Union at all levels continues to improve the quality of models, clubs, and women's charity groups to help poor households and women in difficult circumstances; organize monthly rice support activities, donate treatment costs to women members in difficult circumstances, with serious illnesses, etc.
