Ready for Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025

Prepare carefully for the "party" of sound and light

Not only featuring spectacular fireworks displays, DIFF 2025 promises to bring vibrant music festivals. The stage is designed to be open, twice as wide as in 2024, becoming one of the most magnificent stages in the 17-year history of the Da Nang Fireworks Festival.

With the new generation of LED floor technology, the audience will have a better visual experience, while optimizing the viewing angle from all stands. The surround sound has been upgraded to suit both the fireworks display and the live concert. In particular, the opening night of DIFF 2025 will be a competition between the host team Vietnam 1 and the defending champion Finland with the theme "Cultural Essence". The art performances will be imbued with the cultural colors of the two countries, expressed through music , choreography and modern stage effects. In addition to the eye-catching fireworks, the opening ceremony of DIFF also brings together a group of famous artists and singers such as: Tung Duong, Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, singer Kieu Anh... under the guidance of MCs Anh Tuan and Luong Thuy Linh.

In addition to the opening night art program, the organizing committee completed the framework script for the 4 mid-night competitions and the closing night as planned. In order to serve the people and tourists watching the fireworks, the organizing committee installed 4 sound clusters along the routes: opposite the Dong Da - Bach Dang - 3 Thang 2 intersection; the T-shaped bridge area, Bach Dang street (opposite the new Da Nang Museum); the area from the B1 stand to the Han River bridge (Tran Hung Dao street) and the area from the Olalani hotel (Tran Hung Dao street to the B2 stand).

Mr. Huynh Nam Thang, Vice Chairman and General Directorof Sun Group Central Region, said that DIFF 2025 with the theme "Da Nang - New Era", the main stage is designed as a symbol affirming that spirit. The stage is inspired by the typical natural beauty of Da Nang, thereby recreating the majestic image of Ngu Hanh Son by the ocean, with the highlight being the shining pearl in the center, symbolizing the strong aspiration to rise up and constantly innovate of the city of the Han River. The image of mountains and rivers also represents the spirit of harmony and solidarity, true to the message of a "new era" that DIFF 2025 wishes to convey to the people and tourists.

Ensure security and safety

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the number of visitors to Da Nang this time is quite large. The service and hotel industry's facilities are capable of meeting the demand with about 1,276 tourist accommodation establishments/46,477 rooms (an increase of 735 rooms compared to the same period in 2024). Of which, 4-5 star and equivalent tourist accommodation establishments have 111 establishments with 21,563 rooms (an increase of 8 hotels with 1,268 rooms compared to the same period in 2024), 3-star and equivalent tourist accommodation establishments have 102 establishments with 6,738 rooms, 2-star and below have 1,063 establishments with 18,176 rooms. The situation of guests booking rooms on fireworks days is about 65-70% (especially hotels along the Han River and coastal areas are about 85-90%). The opening night occupancy rate of all hotels is estimated at 73-75% (88-90% for hotels along the Han River and the sea). According to information from airlines, during the opening of DIFF 2025 (from May 29 to 31), the total number of domestic and international flights to Da Nang is estimated at 433, an increase of 16.71% over the same period in 2024. Of which, domestic flights are estimated at 265, international flights are estimated at 168, an increase of 17% and 15% respectively over the same period in 2024.

Due to the large number of tourists and people pouring into the streets to watch the fireworks, the city has focused on ensuring security, order and safety. The city police will coordinate with the city's Military Command, the city's Border Guard Command and relevant agencies and units to develop a plan to ensure security, order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting and rescue for activities and locations of DIFF 2025; at the same time, research and support the flow of vehicles of agencies and units of the organizing committee to facilitate the organization of the festival. In particular, the city's Military Command will coordinate with relevant agencies and units to ensure absolute safety at the location where the fireworks are stored while waiting for installation and at the fireworks display area; strengthen propaganda for people not to use vehicles to illegally transport people to watch fireworks on the river.

Relevant departments, agencies and sectors are ready with plans and strategies to ensure the festival takes place in an orderly and safe manner. The Department of Industry and Trade has strengthened market inspection and control, dividing into two inspection teams with more than 60 inspectors; coordinating with relevant units to conduct surprise food safety inspections at restaurants and hotels serving tourists in the area. The Food Safety Management Board has issued a plan to ensure food safety for DIFF 2025. The Market Management Department has carried out a special focus on market inspection and control before and during DIFF 2025; disseminated laws to business organizations and individuals; publicized the hotline number and email address to receive and resolve consumer feedback. The Department of Construction has a plan to divert traffic, relocate boats and organize inland waterway passenger transport business activities during the temporary suspension of Han River port operations to serve DIFF; advise the City People's Committee to issue a policy prohibiting vehicles from anchoring and operating on the Han River during the DIFF 2025 fireworks display.

Localities where fireworks displays take place also have specific plans to maintain order in the area. The People's Committee of Hai Chau district has chaired the establishment of specialized teams to remind people to turn off street lights and lights of high-rise buildings on Tran Phu - Bach Dang and Dong Da streets during fireworks displays to avoid affecting the effects and performance quality of the competing teams. In Hai Chau and Son Tra districts, the authorities have planned to strengthen inspection and control of parking lots, especially spontaneous parking lots, and control market stabilization, food safety and hygiene, and fire prevention and fighting during DIFF 2025.

Many festivals and events accompanying DIFF 2025

During DIFF 2025, the city will organize 48 activities accompanying DIFF 2025. Compared to 2024, new activities include: fashion show "Where fireworks shine", Exhibition of three-region antiques, Enjoy Danang Festival 2025 - Enjoy Danang Festival 2025, installation art, Beach soccer tournament for event and tourism businesses in Danang city... In addition, there are activities: Danang Asian Film Festival; modern dance band and group performances; youth band and group exchanges, Vietnam - Japan festival in Danang city 2025; display of information resources and arrangement of model books; children's painting exhibition with the theme "New day Danang"; installation art space; street music; singing and singing performances; Danang magic; street dance...; organizing fair and shopping events such as: Danang summer promotion season; Branded goods promotion day; Da Nang Vietnamese goods fair 2025 - honoring OCOP products; Mega Livestream program - Da Nang summer 2025.
