According to Vice President of Vietnam Tourism Association, President of Vietnam Hotel Association Do Hong Xoan: In the context of the strong development of technology, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI), it not only changes the way businesses operate, but also reshapes the way services are managed in the hotel industry. Applying AI technology to the tourism sector, especially in housekeeping, is an inevitable trend. In addition, technology also needs to be operated by people with skills and knowledge. This is not only a strategic orientation, but also an important implementation in improving the quality of human resources in housekeeping management in particular and hotel management in Vietnam in general, to actively contribute to the digital transformation process and sustainable development in the hotel industry in Vietnam. The workshop is an opportunity for those in the industry to learn and approach new solutions for the future.
At the workshop, experts, managers and delegates presented papers and shared experiences around the main contents such as: Development trends in the field of tourism accommodation; using AI to contribute to improving the efficiency of hotel management and operations; hotel management in the AI era & Housekeeping management in the AI era; introducing new products and new technologies to contribute to improving labor productivity, customer experience and sustainable development...
According to Mr. Nguyen Quang, Vice President of the Vietnam Hotel Association, President of the Vietnam Room Management Club, the effective implementation of new technologies, especially the application of AI in hotel operations management, will face many challenges, but if not actively and determinedly implemented, the pioneering opportunity will be missed and the application of technology sooner or later is indispensable in modern hotel operations management. Hotel managers in the AI era not only need to be good at their profession, but also need to have a strategic vision and the ability to inspire and lead the team to effectively implement sustainable development and digital transformation, to turn challenges into opportunities to meet the requirements of the Government .

Representative of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Binh shared about the policies of the Government and the National Tourism Administration on green development - sustainable development, digital and technological development, and updated the current situation and development trends... of the hotel and accommodation industry in Vietnam. At the same time, she affirmed that digital transformation in the accommodation industry is not only an inevitable trend but also a mandatory requirement in the context of increasingly fierce competition today.
Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City Nguyen Thi Hoai An also affirmed that in today's development trend, the application of technology and AI in hotel operations and management is an inevitable trend in the tourism industry to enhance customer experience, create differences in products and services to bring competitiveness, optimize performance, increase business efficiency for tourist accommodation establishments, especially the room division. The workshop "Hotel Housekeeping Management in the AI era" has practical significance in connecting, sharing and spreading knowledge and experience to the tourism business community.
Ms. Ava Tan, President of the Housekeeping Association of Malaysia, shared about the challenges and creative solutions of Housekeeping Malaysia in issues such as: shortage of human resources, high workload, high pressure, high customer demands and technology application solutions to improve work efficiency for businesses.
Representatives from the Thai Housekeeping Association, Indonesian Housekeeping Association, and Vietnam Housekeeping Association also shared many experiences and practical applications, giving delegates multi-dimensional views on the challenges and opportunities of the Housekeeping industry in the ASEAN region when entering the digital age.
