Visit and give gifts to the elderly at social assistance facilities

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly (VAE) (May 10, 1995 - May 10, 2025); the 84th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnamese Elderly (June 6, 1941 - June 6, 2025), on the morning of June 6, leaders of the Department of Health visited and presented gifts to the elderly at Phuc Tho Nursing Center, An Thai Nursing Center and the Provincial Center for Social Work and Social Protection.

Health Department leaders give gifts to the elderly of Phuc Tho Nursing Center.

Currently, Phuc Tho Nursing Center is taking care of 115 elderly people; An Thai Nursing Center is taking care of 40 elderly people and the Provincial Social Work and Social Protection Center is taking care of more than 100 lonely and homeless elderly people.

Leaders of the Department of Health presented gifts to the elderly of the Provincial Center for Social Work and Social Protection.

At the places visited, leaders of the Department of Health inquired about the health, spirit and living conditions of the elderly; wished them a happy, healthy and prosperous life; and hoped that the centers would focus resources on serving and caring for the elderly; ensuring that 100% of the elderly receive comprehensive health care as well as mobilizing the community's attention and care in both material and spiritual aspects, helping the elderly live happily, healthily and usefully.
