Visit and give gifts to the center for the lonely elderly

BTO-On the afternoon of June 4, the Provincial Department of Health coordinated with the Provincial Association of the Elderly to visit and present gifts to 2 centers for caring for lonely elderly people in Phan Thiet City, on the occasion of the 84th anniversary of Vietnam Elderly Day (June 6, 1941 - June 6, 2025).

The delegation visited the Provincial Social Protection Center and Thien Phuoc Social Protection Facility in Phan Thiet City. At the places visited, representatives of the Department of Health and representatives of the Provincial Elderly Association kindly asked the elderly about their daily lives, wishing them good health, optimism and love of life. At the same time, the delegation also presented each facility with gifts worth 3 million VND.

It is known that Thien Phuoc Social Protection Facility (Thien Nghiep Commune) is currently taking care of 59 lonely elderly people. The Provincial Social Protection Center is currently taking care of 79 elderly people. Among them, the elderly are revolutionary contributors, lonely, and have no one to rely on.
