In recent times, the Association for the Promotion of Education in Thang Binh district has promoted and improved the quality of building the model of "Citizens learning" regularly and continuously, regardless of age or profession, according to the needs of "learning what is needed".
Up to now, the whole district has more than 35,500 families recognized as learning families; 276 learning clans; 69 learning communities, 85 learning units and 4 commune-level learning communities. Regarding the learning citizen model, by the beginning of 2025, there were 50,408 accounts registered on the system; 13 units completed and exceeded annual targets; 99% of schools and administrative agencies evaluated and recognized the model.
In the past 6 months, the entire Thang Binh district has mobilized and received nearly 2 billion VND from the scholarship fund, awarded nearly 400 scholarships, rewarded nearly 2,100 students; and purchased nearly 100 million VND worth of teaching equipment for schools...
On this occasion, the Thang Binh District Education Promotion Association awarded 12 million VND to sponsor Pham Thanh Hai - Phu Dong Primary School (Binh Tu) for 2 consecutive years; awarded 5 million VND scholarships to 5 schools and passed a resolution to end the activities of the Thang Binh District Education Promotion Association.
