Persistent, accompanying workers
At the launching ceremony of Workers' Month 2025 organized by the Provincial Federation of Labor in coordination with the Department of Home Affairs, Mr. Nguyen Minh Them, a teacher and union member of Dinh Tien Hoang Secondary School (Song Cau Town) was supported with more than 50 million VND to build a Trade Union Shelter. Mr. Them said that he and his wife have small children, currently do not have a house, and have had to rent a house for many years. He was very happy to receive support from the Provincial Federation of Labor. He said: "This is a motivation to help me be more determined. I will borrow more money to build a house. Having a stable place to live, I have better conditions to complete my tasks."
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chung, a worker at Concept Eyewear Manufacturing Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Hoa Hiep Industrial Park) excitedly said: “I have been a member who has participated in the launching ceremony of Workers’ Month for many years. I am very excited because the union has many suitable and effective programs during the annual Workers’ Month. All of these activities are very practical, useful and always focus on workers.”
According to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, for many years now, trade unions at all levels have closely coordinated with the government, functional sectors, and enterprises, along with the active response of workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ), to carry out many practical activities on the occasion of Workers' Month. Through many creative and effective ways, trade unions at all levels have directed practical benefits to CNVCLĐ. Especially from 2022 to present, thousands of union members and workers in difficult circumstances have been visited and given many meaningful gifts. Every year, the Provincial Federation of Labor coordinates with the Health Sector Trade Union to organize free medical examinations and health consultations for hundreds of union members and workers working at units and enterprises. Voter meetings between workers and the National Assembly Delegation, provincial leaders, local authorities, and business representatives are organized, creating conditions for leaders to listen to and share the thoughts and aspirations of workers. In addition to organizing legal consultation and explanation sessions, the price stabilization program has always been maintained, helping to reduce the spending burden for workers. Many cultural, artistic and sports activities have also been organized by trade unions at all levels, contributing to creating a healthy playground and improving the spiritual life of workers.
With the results achieved in the Workers' Month in recent years, the trust of union members and workers in the trade union organization has been increasingly consolidated and enhanced. The trade union has promoted its role in representing and protecting the legal and legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, and at the same time, it is a bridge between workers and enterprises.

In the 2024 Workers' Month alone, from union financial resources and socialized resources, the provincial trade unions visited and presented gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances and those with incurable diseases with a total amount of 653 million VND, including 4 union shelters and visits to 856 union members and workers. Along with that, trade unions at all levels in the province coordinated with the Health Sector Trade Union, medical centers of districts, towns and cities to organize health check-ups and screening for occupational diseases for nearly 2,500 union members and workers.
Along with activities to care for people's lives, the issue of occupational safety and hygiene is increasingly being paid attention to by trade unions at all levels and placed in a key position, in line with the policies of the Party and the State. Production emulation movements, promoting initiatives and technical improvements have been vigorously launched, bringing about practical results, contributing to improving productivity and labor quality in enterprises and units in the province.
Mr. Phan Dinh Hong, Chairman of the Trade Union of An Hung Joint Stock Company (Tuy Hoa City) affirmed: “Over the years, the programs in the Workers' Month have always been innovated in both form and content, becoming increasingly richer, more exciting and more effective. Those activities have brought joy and solidarity between union members, workers and trade union organizations, agencies, units and enterprises in order to build an increasingly strong and comprehensively developed workforce; at the same time, raising the awareness and responsibility of the whole society towards the working class in the new situation”.
Firmly entering the new era
Workers' Month 2025 with the theme of Vietnamese Workers Pioneering into a New Era was launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, affirming the aspiration to rise, the spirit of mastering science and technology and the will to contribute of workers. This is also an opportunity to arouse the spirit of learning and training in the workforce, encouraging workers to constantly innovate, improve their professional qualifications and skills, proactively change careers, and adapt to new requirements of the labor market; an opportunity for workers to approach modern labor trends, keep up with the wave of international integration and the fourth industrial revolution, thereby being ready to enter a new stage of development of the country, where knowledge, technology and innovation play a key role.
In that spirit, the Provincial Federation of Labor directs and guides all levels of trade unions to focus on many important contents during Workers' Month. The target set for the whole province is that 55% or more of trade unions in all types of enterprises and 35% or more of trade unions in administrative agencies and public service units have at least one appropriate activity in response to Workers' Month in 2025.
Also according to the Provincial Federation of Labor, from April 28 to the end of May 2025, trade unions at all levels in the province will focus on coordinating to organize many programs and activities that are truly meaningful to the lives of union members and workers. In particular, focusing on the Creative Workers Program, confidently entering the new era, to propagate and mobilize union members and workers to study and improve their professional skills; innovate working style, improve integration skills; continue to promote the creative emulation movement, encourage and honor union members and workers with many initiatives, technical improvements, application of modern technology in production, improve labor productivity, improve income...
