- During the 2020-2025 term, Party committees and inspection committees at all levels in Chi Lang district focused on seriously and strictly implementing Resolution No. 41, dated August 5, 2021, of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership over the inspection of Party organizations and Party members when there are signs of violations, for the period 2021-2025. This resulted in positive outcomes, making a significant contribution to building a strong Party.
Unlike the previous term (when no inspections were conducted when violations occurred), during the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee's Inspection Committee of Quan Son commune conducted inspections when violations occurred on one Party organization and four Party members. The inspected Party organization was the Lang Ha village Party branch, and the inspection focused on the implementation of the branch's working regulations.
Similar to Quan Son, the 2020-2025 term is also the first term in which the Party Committee and the Party Inspection Committee of Dong Mo town have conducted inspections when there are signs of violations. Ms. Nong Thi Hop, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Head of the Party Inspection Committee of Dong Mo town, said: To raise awareness of inspection and supervision work in general and inspections when there are signs of violations in particular, right from the beginning of the term, the town's Party Committee proactively organized the dissemination and full implementation of resolutions, directives, and guiding documents of the Central and provincial authorities on inspection work, especially Resolution No. 41. Accordingly, from 2021 to the present, the Party Committee and the Party Inspection Committee have conducted inspections of violations against 2 Party organizations and 5 Party members.
Similar to Quan Son or Dong Mo town, during the 2020-2025 term, inspection work when violations occur has been strongly implemented, becoming a spearhead in inspection work at Party committees and Inspection Committees at all levels in the district. According to statistics, from 2021 to the present, Party committees and Inspection Committees at all levels in the district have inspected 41 Party organizations (achieving 256.3% of the target set in Resolution No. 41) and 102 Party members (achieving 131% of the target) when violations occur. Compared to the 2015-2020 term, this represents an increase of 38 Party organizations and 85 Party members. These are impressive figures, reflecting the active involvement, willingness to confront issues, and lack of avoidance by inspection agencies.
“In implementing Resolution No. 41 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Party committees and Party Inspection Committees at all levels in Chi Lang district have systematically and extensively implemented the Resolution, truly putting it into practice. With strong involvement, the number of inspections conducted when violations were detected has increased significantly compared to the previous term, exceeding the set target. Importantly, this work has enabled the timely detection and prevention of violations and wrongdoings, preventing them from accumulating into major offenses; contributing to maintaining strict discipline and order within the Party.” Mr. Le Tri Thuc, Standing Deputy Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission |
Some of the inspections that attracted public attention include: inspections of Party organizations and Party members related to leadership and guidance in the implementation of local military service in Lien Son commune; financial management and use at the District Health Center; the buying and selling of documents during the 2021 provincial senior specialist examination; and the implementation of regulations on awarding Party badges in Gia Loc commune. Through these inspections, violations were promptly detected, and disciplinary actions and warnings were issued to Party organizations and members in accordance with regulations. Specifically, during inspections of violations, 9 Party organizations were found to have committed violations, of which 3 were serious enough to warrant disciplinary action (3 organizations have already been disciplined); 43 Party members were found to have committed violations, of which 27 were serious enough to warrant disciplinary action (27 members have already been disciplined).
To effectively carry out inspections when violations occur, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the District Party Committee Executive Committee, and the District Party Committee's Inspection Committee have thoroughly disseminated guiding documents on this work, proactively developed programs and plans for focused and targeted inspections, and assigned the number of inspections when violations occur to subordinate Party organizations. The spirit of these inspections is defined not as "nitpicking" but as "proactive prevention, with a focus on constructive measures."
Mr. Hoang Xuan Anh, Chairman of the District Party Committee's Inspection Committee, shared: "In order to raise awareness and improve the professional skills of cadres in charge of inspection and supervision work in general, and inspection when there are signs of violations in particular, we have organized training courses, including 28 courses with more than 900 participants. The District Party Committee's Inspection Committee also coordinated with, guided, and directly provided hands-on training to cadres working in this field at the Inspection Committees of grassroots Party committees. Simultaneously, to identify and detect signs of violations, the Inspection Committees at all levels in the district regularly monitor and supervise Party organizations and Party members through various information channels such as reports, complaints, denunciations, or information from cadres and leaders in charge of the grassroots areas."
It is evident that the focus on implementing Resolution No. 41 has created positive changes in inspection work when violations occur. This has led to the timely detection and strict handling of violations, helping Party organizations and members recognize their shortcomings and weaknesses, and develop plans for rectification. This has contributed to strengthening the trust of cadres, Party members, and the people, affirming the Party's determination to maintain discipline and strictness, combat ideological and political degradation, moral decay, and lifestyle issues, as well as fight against corruption, negativity, and waste. During the past term, Chi Lang district has basically achieved and exceeded the set targets, with stable economic and social development, ensured security and order, and a strong political system.
In the coming period, Party committees and Party Discipline Inspection Committees at all levels will continue to focus on strictly implementing inspection work when there are signs of violations, so that this work truly becomes a sharp spearhead, contributing to protecting and preserving the purity and strength of the Party.
