Establishment of Steering Committee to implement the merger of Lao Cai - Yen Bai provinces

Accordingly, the Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committees of the two provinces agreed to establish a Steering Committee with the following members: Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province and Comrade Tran Huy Tuan, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Yen Bai province, co-Chairmen of the Steering Committee. The Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committees of the two provinces act as Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee. The members include: Members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Council, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation; Heads and Deputy Heads of the agencies advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee; the Provincial Newspaper, the Provincial Political School; Committees of the Provincial People's Council; specialized agencies, public service units under the Provincial People's Committee; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of the two provinces.

Establish a Working Group to assist the Steering Committee to develop component projects according to the Blocks, including: Working Group No. 01: Develop a project to merge specialized agencies to advise and assist the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Newspaper, the Political School; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations; the National Assembly Delegation, agencies under the Provincial People's Council; Party Committees of the two provincial Party agencies.

Working Group No. 02: Develop a project to merge specialized agencies and units under the Provincial People's Committee; Provincial Police, Provincial Military Command; Party Committees of the People's Committees of the two provinces.
