Provincial Association for Promotion of Education summarizes the first 6 months of the year

Attending the conference were Comrade Giang Thi Dung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Lao Cai City Party Committee, Honorary President of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education; members of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education; leaders of Associations for Promotion of Education in localities in the province.

The report for the first 6 months of the year clearly stated that the learning promotion associations at all levels have consulted with the Party committees and authorities on the key contents of the work of promoting learning, promoting talents, and building a learning society. The associations at all levels continue to direct the implementation and development of models of "Learning families", "Learning clans", "Learning communities", "Learning units" and "Learning citizens". Up to now, the total number of members is 212,967, reaching 27% of the province's population.

The district-level education promotion association has been advising the Party committee and government on mobilizing and building an education promotion fund. Some units have achieved good results, such as: Bao Thang district, Bao Yen district, Bat Xat district, Lao Cai city...

The provincial Association for the Promotion of Education at all levels has rewarded students with achievements in studying and scientific research and awarded scholarships to poor students who have overcome difficulties; rewarded teachers and association officials with good achievements in teaching, typically: Provincial Youth Union, Provincial Border Guard Command, Red Cross Association, Provincial Labor Federation.

After listening to the report, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying the difficulties and advantages in implementing the study promotion work in the locality; recommending and proposing solutions to effectively implement the study and talent promotion work in the last 6 months of 2025.

The Association for the Promotion of Education at all levels actively connects to give scholarships to students in difficult circumstances, ethnic minority students, etc. These gifts have great spiritual significance, encouraging students to strive to excel in their studies, contributing to the good implementation of the movement for the promotion of education and talent.

Comrade Duong Bich Nguyet, Director of the Departmentof Education and Training, Chairman of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education, gave a speech.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Duong Bich Nguyet, Director of the Department of Education and Training, Chairman of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education acknowledged and accepted the opinions and contributions of the delegates; answered the questions of the units. On this occasion, authorized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education, the Chairman of the Provincial Association for Promoting Education awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag, Certificate of Merit and Medal "For the cause of promoting education" to collectives and individuals (photo above) .
