Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh - Head of the Steering Committee for reviewing and removing difficulties and obstacles related to projects has just signed Decision No. 17/BCĐ dated February 12, 2025 to establish a Working Group to assist the Steering Committee.

According to the Decision, a Working Group to assist the Steering Committee in reviewing and removing difficulties and obstacles related to projects (Working Group 1568) was established. Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Do Thanh Trung is the Head of the Group. Mr. Le Quoc Dat, Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, is the Deputy Head of the Group.

Members of Working Group 1568 include representatives of leaders of relevant ministries and branches.

Functions of the 1568 Support Team

The decision clearly states that Working Group 1568 assists the Steering Committee in reviewing and removing difficulties and obstacles related to projects (Steering Committee 1568) in researching and coordinating to resolve important tasks, and interdisciplinary coordination to remove difficulties and obstacles for projects.

The tasks and powers of Working Group 1568 are to research and propose to Steering Committee 1568 directions, tasks, and solutions to solve important, inter-sectoral issues in order to remove difficulties and obstacles related to projects.

Assist Steering Committee 1568 in inspecting, coordinating and urging relevant ministries, branches and localities to carry out the work of reviewing and summarizing difficulties and problems related to projects under the assigned state management scope, identifying the causes of difficulties and problems and proposing solutions; directing ministries and agencies to guide the removal according to their authority; summarizing difficulties and problems related to projects according to specific groups of issues, determining the handling authority of relevant levels, reporting to Steering Committee 1568 for consideration and decision.

Advise and propose to Steering Committee 1568, urge, inspect and summarize the settlement and removal of difficulties and obstacles related to projects under the authority of ministries, central and local agencies; summarize and report to Steering Committee 1568 on newly arising issues (if any).

Advise and propose to Steering Committee 1568 to review and report to competent authorities to direct the amendment, supplementation and completion of relevant legal mechanisms and policies under the authority of the Government, Prime Minister, ministries, branches and localities, and report to competent authorities on issues beyond their authority.

Perform other related tasks as assigned and directed by the Head of Steering Committee 1568 and Deputy Head of Steering Committee 1568.

Organization and operation of Working Group 1568

Members of Working Group 1568 work part-time, promote personal responsibility and use the seal of their agency or unit.

The Head of Support Team 1568 is responsible for ensuring the operating conditions of Support Team 1568, directing the implementation of tasks according to the assigned functions, tasks and powers under the direction of the Head of Steering Committee 1568 and Deputy Head of Steering Committee 1568./.
