Bach Dang dragon fruit (Kinh Mon) does not contain pesticide residues.

Products of Bach Dang Clean Agricultural Products Production and Trading Cooperative are safe for consumers and have achieved 4-star OCOP certification.

The JICA Project Management Board of Hai Duong province took 30 dragon fruit samples from the cooperative members for evaluation, quick test and laboratory testing for pesticide residues. The results showed that all Bach Dang dragon fruit samples had no pesticide residues.

The inspection and assessment of agricultural product quality is an activity under the Project “Strengthening the value chain of safe crops in the northern provinces of Vietnam”. The project aims to assess the level of food safety and hygiene, promote information, propaganda, and guidance on the use of pesticides and warn growers about the health and environmental hazards of improper use of pesticides. From there, create safe, quality products to meet the increasing needs of consumers.

Bach Dang Clean Agricultural Products Production and Trading Cooperative currently has about 10 hectares, mainly growing red-fleshed dragon fruit. The cooperative's products have been certified with 4-star OCOP.
