(MPI) - On March 26, 2024, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Planning and Investment held a rally to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024).

In the exciting atmosphere of reviewing the tradition of the founding day of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union through 93 years of growth and development, comrade Nguyen Anh Tu, Deputy Secretary in charge of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, reviewed the extremely exciting, diverse and creative activities in the past time.
With the theme of Youth Month 2024 being "Youth volunteers for community life" agreed by the Central Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Planning and Investment has always focused on synchronously and extensively implementing youth volunteer movements with many rich and diverse forms, based on the strengths and characteristics of each agency and unit, attaching importance to on-site volunteering and volunteering associated with professional tasks.
In addition, maintain and promote volunteer activities for the community, actively participate in social security activities, especially supporting disadvantaged children, lonely elderly people, people with disabilities; activities of "Repaying gratitude - remembering the source of water". In 2023, the Youth Union of the Ministry deployed and directed the implementation of 08 volunteer activities at the Ministry level (in Hanoi , Thanh Hoa province, Sop Cop district, Son La province, Gia Lai province, Dien Bien; Cao Bang, Hai Phong ...), built and implemented 18 grassroots youth projects and tasks, attracting more than 200 cadres and youth union members to participate.
The Youth Union of the Ministry of Planning and Investment was also honored to receive a certificate of merit as a Unit with excellent performance in the movement responding to Youth Month 2023 and a certificate of merit as a Unit with excellent performance in 2023.

Speaking at the rally, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the agency, highly appreciated the important and creative youth movements and activities organized and implemented by the youth of the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
In particular, in 2023, which is the "Year of Digital Transformation of Union Activities", the Youth Union of the Ministry of Planning and Investment has organized many workshops and actively participated in activities to support digital transformation at the local level; attended the Seminar on "Enhancing Digital Capacity for Youth" within the framework of the 9th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians; organized trips to the source, thematic activities, volunteer activities, and youth movements in various forms.
The activities have encouraged the spirit of creative youth, contributing to the successful completion of political tasks and contributing to community building. The Ministry's Youth Union has coordinated with agencies and units inside and outside the Ministry to implement many effective activities, accompanying young people in scientific research, mastering technology and in training and developing skills, improving spiritual life; closely coordinating with the Trade Union and units in the Ministry in organizing events such as professional activities, local social activities, and giving gifts to disadvantaged groups sponsored by the Ministry.

On this occasion, with the consent of the leaders of the Ministry of Planning and Investment and the Party Committee of the agency, the Young Theory Club, under the Ministry's Youth Union, was established. The Young Theory Club is one of the ways to gather cadres, union members, and young people who love and are capable of researching and exchanging theories, politics, and scientific research methods; strengthen the theoretical education of the Union and the agency; improve the ability to operate practically and generalize into scientific theories; contribute to solving problems arising from the practical work of the Union and the youth movement, as well as the practical implementation of the common professional tasks of the Ministry./.
