According to the Military Service Council of Ta An Khuong Commune, the locality was assigned a quota of 31 young men to be recruited and enlisted in the military in 2026 by the Provincial Military Service Council. Of these, 24 were assigned to the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Border Guard Command, and the Navy, and 7 to the Provincial Police. Encouragingly, this year the entire commune has 40 young men who volunteered to enlist. After health examinations, assessments, and classifications, over 50% of the young men were classified as Category 1. The commune's Military Service Council, along with local departments, organizations, and hamlets, organized meetings to encourage the selected young men to ensure the best possible results on the day of enlistment.
Vision testing is one of the components of the military conscription health examination process.
Nguyen Quoc Dung, a young man from Muong Dieu A hamlet, Ta An Khuong commune, shared: “Upon hearing the announcement from the commune's military command, I volunteered to enlist. During my training in the army, I will strive to study and become a good soldier. After completing my military service, I hope to continue working in the army, serving my homeland and country.”
Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang, father of Nguyen Quoc Dung, said: "Although Dung is our only son, because of his duty to the country, I encouraged and supported him to enlist in the army, fulfill his duties well, and continue and promote the revolutionary traditions of our family."
The medical examination for military service is conducted strictly and in accordance with regulations.
Mr. Le Tan Phat, Chairman of the People's Committee and Chairman of the Military Service Council of Ta An Khuong Commune, added: “The commune's Military Service Council, along with various departments and hamlets, visited each family to offer encouragement and support, aiming to promptly understand the thoughts and aspirations of each young man, thereby resolving any difficulties he may face before enlisting. With the attention of the province, the efforts of the locality, the support of families, and the determination of the young men, Ta An Khuong Commune strives to successfully complete the 2026 military recruitment process, achieving and exceeding the assigned targets.”
