Kon Tum City, Kon Tum Province will develop 8 new industrial clusters in the period 2030 - 2040.

According to the Decision approving the Project to adjust the General Planning of Kon Tum City, Kon Tum Province to 2040, which has just been issued by the Kon Tum Provincial People's Committee, Kon Tum City is oriented to develop industrial parks, industrial clusters - small-scale industries in the city towards clean industry, minimizing environmental impacts to contribute to the sustainable industrialization of Kon Tum Province.

In addition, Kon Tum city will continue to invest in completing the technical infrastructure system of industrial parks, industrial clusters - small industry: Hoa Binh Industrial Park; Sao Mai Industrial Park; Industrial cluster, small industry, H'Nor craft village; Thanh Trung industrial cluster - small industry; Industrial cluster - small industry, Hoa Binh commune; Industrial cluster - small industry, Ngo May ward and Dak Cam commune.

Also according to the Project to adjust the General Planning of Kon Tum City to 2040, Kon Tum City will develop new industrial clusters. Specifically, 8 industrial clusters in the South of the city in Hoa Binh commune and Ia Chim commune have an area of ​​about 569.5 hectares (the period to 2030 includes 3 industrial clusters with a total area of ​​about 210.8 hectares; by 2040 includes 5 industrial clusters with a total area of ​​about 358.7 hectares).

The industry is processing forestry products, agricultural products, construction materials, transportation equipment, electrical equipment, electronics, garments, logistics... to serve domestic needs and export.

1 Industrial - handicraft cluster in Ngo May ward (adjacent to Thanh Trung Industrial - handicraft cluster) with an area of ​​25 hectares. The industry is to classify, clean and recycle scrap.
