According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the whole province has 2,844 works, with an irrigation area of ​​about 41,600 hectares, of which there are 56 large and medium-sized works, accounting for only nearly 2% of the total number of works.

To ensure effective management, exploitation and use of funds to support the use of public irrigation products and services, the province has implemented management according to the model of the Management Board, projects according to the scale and irrigation capacity of the project. However, this model is facing difficulties in implementing management in accordance with financial regulations.

At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying problems and difficulties, and at the same time proposed solutions to ensure the improvement of management, exploitation and use of irrigation products and services effectively and in accordance with legal regulations.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen The Giang affirmed: The model of irrigation works management in our province in recent years has brought economic efficiency, works are managed effectively, reducing losses, saving the State budget. To improve the effectiveness of management work, and at the same time comply with the provisions of law, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Environment to develop, complete the plan, build and implement an effective management model in accordance with the provisions of law to report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and implementation.
