600 farmers participate in training on sustainable agricultural production

- From April 23 to May 9, the Provincial Farmers' Association organized 7 training conferences to propagate and mobilize farmer members to produce and trade quality and safe agricultural products and food for community health and sustainable development.

The conference series attracted the participation of 600 members, farmers and owners of agricultural and food production and trading establishments in the following communes and wards: Minh Quang (Lam Binh), Na Hang town (Na Hang), Vinh Loc town (Chiem Hoa), Thai Hoa commune (Ham Yen), Son Duong town (Son Duong), Nhu Han commune (Yen Son) and An Tuong ward (Tuyen Quang city).

At the training courses, trainees were equipped with important knowledge about: Current legal documents on food safety; State regulations on conditions for production, preliminary processing, processing and trading of agricultural, forestry and fishery products; Technical standards and regulations related to production, preliminary processing, processing and trading of agricultural, forestry and fishery products; Guidance on building and replicating models of high-tech agricultural production, organic agriculture, OCOP products; Guidance on applying quality management processes, ensuring food safety in the process of developing value chains for key local agricultural and food products.

Through the training conference, Tuyen Quang Farmers' Association hopes to raise awareness and capacity for members and farmers in producing and trading safe and quality agricultural products. Thereby contributing to protecting public health and promoting the sustainable development of the province's agricultural sector.
