Vietnam Journalists Association delegation visits Truong Sa

- On the morning of May 23, at Naval Region 2, the Vietnam Journalists Association delegation led by comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, set out to visit and encourage soldiers and people on Truong Sa archipelago and DK1 platform.

The delegation includes 100 leaders and reporters from press agencies and journalists' associations across the country. Delegates from Tuyen Quang province participating in the delegation include comrade Mai Duc Thong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists' Association.

Before leaving Cat Lai Port ( Ho Chi Minh City), the delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroes and martyrs of the Ship Without Numbers at the Monument of Heroes and Martyrs of the Ship Without Numbers (Brigade 125, Vietnam Navy).

Comrade Mai Duc Thong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association joined the working delegation.

The delegation respectfully offered incense to commemorate and pay tribute to the heroic sacrifices of officers, soldiers and people on the Ho Chi Minh Sea Transport Route, and reviewed the traditions and legendary feats of the unnumbered Trains of the past.

In front of the heroic martyrs, the delegation vows to strive, practice and improve the spirit of learning, solidarity and creativity, continue to promote the tradition of revolutionary journalism, and accompany the country into a new era - the era of national growth.

The delegation offered incense and flowers to commemorate the heroes and martyrs of the Ship Without Numbers at the Monument of Heroes and Martyrs of the Ship Without Numbers (Brigade 125, Vietnam Navy).

This is a special working trip to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. The visit aims to encourage officers and soldiers to be assured and attached to their units, islands and platforms; to persevere in staying at the forefront, firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland, contributing to maintaining a peaceful, stable and developing environment for the country.

Fisheries Surveillance Ship KN 290 took the working delegation from Cat Lai port to Truong Sa.
