As an actor, Meritorious Artist Kieu Minh Hieu has won many prestigious awards, such as the Gold Medal at the 3rd National Stage Arts Festival for the image of the People's Public Security soldier with the play "In the storm, I see the sun"; Gold Medal at the 3rd Capital Stage Festival with the play "The world"; Gold Medal at the 1st National Stage Arts Festival for children and teenagers - 2024 with the play "The Emperor's New Clothes"; Gold Medal at the 2024 National Drama Festival with the play "White Night".

As a director, with the play "What remains", Meritorious Artist Kieu Minh Hieu won the Gold Medal at the 2021 National Drama Festival.
In addition to being known as a drama actor, Meritorious Artist Minh Hieu is also loved by television audiences for his diverse roles. These include the films “When the Birds Return” part 1 and 2, “House Rules”, “Fate”, “Laurel Wreath”, “Sentimental Boy”… He also participated in dubbing for many successful plays and films.
