Removing obstacles related to rubber land to speed up disbursement of public investment capital in Thong Nhat and Cam My

The Provincial People's Committee's Working Group No. 3 to promote public investment disbursement is assigned to monitor the implementation of public investment disbursement of 6 units including: Department of Agriculture and Environment; Department of Health; Thong Nhat district; Cam My district; Dong Nai Radio and Television Station and Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited.

According to the report, currently, among the 6 units under the monitoring and direction of the Working Group No. 3 on promoting the disbursement of public investment capital, Dong Nai Radio and Television Station is the unit with the highest capital disbursement rate, reaching about 61% of the plan. Meanwhile, the Department of Health is the only unit currently with a capital disbursement rate of 0%.

According to the representative of the Department of Health, the unit was assigned to be the investor of 2 projects with an implementation period from 2024 to 2026. In 2025, the projects were allocated a capital of 200 million VND to carry out investment preparation work. Currently, the Department of Health has signed contracts with consulting units to prepare feasibility study reports for these projects and has submitted them to the Department of Finance for approval by the Provincial People's Committee. The Department of Health also proposed to add 28 million VND to pay for consulting units. With the capital allocated in 2025, the Department of Health is committed to disbursing 100% of the plan.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang assessed that with 6 monitoring units, currently only Thong Nhat and Cam My districts are facing some difficulties and problems in the process of implementing public investment projects related to the handover of rubber land area.

Therefore, the Provincial People's Committee Office coordinated with localities to review and summarize difficulties and problems so that the Provincial People's Committee could work with Dong Nai Rubber Corporation. Regarding the target of disbursing public investment capital in 2025, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang requested units to continue to implement according to the commitment made to the Provincial People's Committee.
