Paulo Tadeu Viana Martins plays as a defensive midfielder. Coach Velizar Popov expressed his satisfaction with the 1m87 tall rookie: “Paulinho is an important piece. He has the ability to adapt quickly and is suitable for the playing philosophy of The Cong Viettel.”

Damian Vu Thanh An is a Vietnamese-Polish player, with a Vietnamese father and a Polish mother. Damian has been playing professionally in Poland since he was 16 years old, and is highly anticipated among the new recruits joining the Viettel The Cong team.

Meanwhile, Kyle Colonna is a familiar face to Vietnamese fans because he joined Hanoi FC last season. The 1m88 tall player with Vietnamese, American and Italian blood is a quality addition to the defense alongside Bui Tien Dung.

Duong Thanh Tung was born in 1999, lives in the Czech Republic, and has Vietnamese parents. The 1m85 tall player grew up in the training center of Banik Most Club, Czech Republic, and tried his hand at V-League last season.

Previously, The Cong Viettel had 5 signatures of Nguyen Van Viet, Dang Van Tram, Dinh Viet Tu, Dinh Xuan Tien and Lucao.

According to the V-League 2025/26 schedule, The Cong Viettel will face CAHN Club in the opening match, at 7:15 p.m. on August 15.
