School sports are exciting with the biggest student football and basketball tournament of the year.

This November, at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, hundreds of students from all three regions of the North, Central and South will gather to participate in the two biggest sports tournaments of the year: the 2025 National Student Basketball Tournament - TV360 Cup and the 2025 National Student Men's Football Tournament - TV360 Cup.

The two tournaments are part of the National Student Sports Championship (NUC) system chaired by the Ministry of Education and Training , in coordination with the Vietnam University and Professional Sports Association, Vietcontent Company, and the TV360 entertainment television application of Viettel Telecommunications Corporation.

After more than a month of competition, the second qualifying round of the tournament recorded 230 participating teams from more than 167 universities, academies and colleges across the country, with 355 matches held at 8 competition venues in the 3 regions of the North, Central and South.

Basketball, the qualifying round has up to 161 teams participating in the qualifying round (113 men's teams, 48 ​​women's teams) in Hanoi , Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, the highest number since the NUC system was formed in 2022.

Football, 69 teams compete in the qualifying round organized in 3 regions with 5 groups in the North (Hanoi City, Thai Nguyen), Central (Hue City) and South ( Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Thap).

This November, two final rounds will make the Polytechnic University a destination and a hotbed for students nationwide. The basketball finals will take place from November 6 to 14, gathering the 14 best teams from the national qualifying rounds.

Next, the final round of the football tournament will start from November 18 to 29, with the participation of 16 teams representing the regions and the host team Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

The total value of the system's awards this year is nearly 600 million VND, awarded to groups and individuals with outstanding achievements.

With the slogan "Two tournaments - One system - One Vietnamese student spirit", the 2025 season continues to convey a strong message about a generation of healthy, dynamic and creative students.
