Today, candidates will take the optional exam or the Natural Science or Social Science exam according to the curriculum.

Candidates taking the exam under the 2018 General Education Program will take the optional exam. Two optional subjects from the subjects that students study in high school (group of Natural Sciences and Social Sciences) will be taken in the morning; and Foreign Language (one of the following languages: English, German, Russian, Japanese, French, Chinese, Korean) will be taken in the afternoon. Candidates taking the exam under the 2006 General Education Program will take the Natural Sciences and Social Sciences exams. The exam time starts at 7:35 a.m.

Previously, on the evening of June 26, information from the Ministry of Education and Training said that the first day of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam with two subjects of Literature and Mathematics took place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations. The exam questions of both subjects received positive feedback from society. However, on the Internet, there was inaccurate information about the leak of exam information right during the exam time at an exam site. The National Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam immediately transferred the information to the technical department of the Ministry of Public Security to investigate the origin, motive, verify, and strictly handle. The handling results will be announced by the Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam as soon as possible.
