Opening of the North Central Region Industry and Trade Fair

On the evening of November 19, the Trade Promotion Agency ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) and the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Tinh organized the opening ceremony of the North Central Region - Ha Tinh Industry and Trade Fair 2025 and honored typical rural industrial products at the provincial level in 2025.

Attending the opening ceremony were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Huy Thanh and leaders of departments, agencies and branches.

Also attending were Mr. Vu Duc Duy - Deputy Director of the Department of Oil, Gas and Coal (Ministry of Industry and Trade); representative of the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade); representatives of units and organizations of a number of provinces and cities; representatives of e-commerce platforms and distributors.

Speaking at the opening of the fair, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Huy Thanh emphasized: Ha Tinh is the land of many famous specialties with high economic value such as cu do candy, Phuc Trach grapefruit, Khe May oranges, Huong Son oranges, Huong Khe agarwood, deer antlers, seafood...

Ha Tinh products are increasingly asserting their position in the domestic and export markets. Up to now, Ha Tinh has 190 products recognized as typical rural industrial products at the provincial, regional and national levels; there are 267 OCOP products with 3 stars or more.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Huy Thanh affirmed: The Fair aims to create an environment for trade connection, brand promotion, and new product introduction; an opportunity for businesses, cooperatives, and production facilities to seek potential partners, promote linkage activities, expand markets, and promote consumption. At the same time, the event contributes significantly to spreading the movement "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", promoting the role of a bridge between manufacturers and distribution systems, between businesses and consumers.

The North Central - Ha Tinh Industry and Trade Fair 2025 is an activity under the National Trade Promotion Program 2025 directed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province. The fair has 200 booths with the participation of 146 enterprises and organizations from the following provinces and cities: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Hung Yen, Lai Chau, Cao Bang, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai and 69 communes, wards and units in the province.

The fair takes place from November 19 to 24 at Tran Phu Square, Thanh Sen Ward. Opening hours are from 8am to 10pm daily.

The products displayed and introduced at the fair are mainly typical rural industrial products, OCOP products, regional specialties, handicrafts, souvenirs; agricultural, forestry, aquatic and seafood products, processed foods; textiles, footwear, accessories; metal, electronic and refrigeration industrial products; construction materials, interior decoration; essential consumer goods serving life...

Mr. Vu Duc Duy - Deputy Director of the Department of Petroleum and Coal (Ministry of Industry and Trade): Ha Tinh is a locality with many important advantages in industry and logistics. The province also has many specialties, OCOP products and rural industry, creating a favorable foundation for organizing large-scale trade promotion activities. The North Central Region - Ha Tinh Industry and Trade Fair in 2025 is an opportunity for businesses and localities to meet, seek partners to expand markets, introduce scientific and technical advances in production, increase export value, and promote the integration process for businesses.

At the ceremony, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates and honored 39 typical provincial-level rural industrial products/sets in 2025 of 30 enterprises, cooperatives, and business households in the area.
