5th grade student wins Special Prize in Southern Liberation Day Stamp Collection Contest

The contest is jointly organized by the Central Council of Young Pioneers, Vietnam Post Corporation, and Vietnam Stamp Association. The 2025 Postage Stamp Collection and Research Contest has a special significance with content revolving around the great historical lessons of the Ho Chi Minh campaign and the resistance war against the invading American imperialists.

Through the above contents, the Organizing Committee hopes to form in the contestants the thinking and knowledge about the correct and wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam , President Ho Chi Minh and the spirit of great national unity which is the decisive factor in the Great Victory of Spring 1975. From there, raise the awareness and responsibility of today's generation of Vietnamese children to contribute to the cause of protecting and maintaining the sacred sovereignty of the country.

According to Vice President of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers, Director of the Center for Support and Development of Vietnamese Children Le Anh Quan, the Contest has attracted the participation of millions of students across the country. Each contest entry is presented in many creative and lively ways; the form is diverse and rich; the content closely follows the theme of the Contest.

In addition, there are many contest entries that are carefully invested in, collecting many extended stamp sets related to the Contest theme with many valuable rare stamps as evidence.

Comrade Le Anh Quan awarded certificates of merit to outstanding candidates of the Contest.

From more than 1.1 million entries, the Organizing Committee has scored, selected and awarded prizes to 25 groups and 76 individuals, divided equally into 2 primary and secondary school groups. Accordingly, each group has 1 Special Prize, 2 First Prizes, 5 Second Prizes, 10 Third Prizes and 20 Encouragement Prizes with a total prize value of more than 100 million VND.

In particular, the Special Prizes of the 2 contestant groups respectively belonged to Ha Bao Ngoc, a 5A4 student at Phuong Liet Primary School (Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi City) and Pham Ngoc Hai My, a 6A5 student at Chu Van An Secondary School (Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province).

Representatives of departments, branches, organizations and the Organizing Committee with the contestants who won high prizes of the Contest.

9 A prizes in the collective category were awarded to the Youth Union Councils of Quang Nam, Binh Duong, Tien Giang, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Kien Giang provinces and Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Hai Phong.
