The job fair for vocational school students preparing to graduate is a very practical activity. This is considered an important "bridge" to help students grasp information about the labor market, thereby proactively equipping themselves with knowledge and skills to confidently integrate into the network of highly skilled workers right after graduation.
Le Ngoc Anh, Nam Son Ward (Tam Diep City) is preparing to enter her final year, majoring in culinary arts, Faculty of Tourism Economics (Ninh Binh College of Mechanics). Ngoc Anh was very excited to participate in the job fair for graduating students, which was held at the school recently. Ngoc Anh said: After graduating from junior high school, I chose to study culinary arts, which I love, and determined it to be the path for my future.
In addition, I also consulted and was advised that cooking is a profession that is quite suitable for the trend because in Ninh Binh tourism is being identified as a key economic sector. Therefore, during the study process, I always try to absorb good knowledge about cuisine and take advantage of opportunities to practice professional skills with experienced teachers. However, students preparing to graduate also need to prepare many other skills, in addition to professional knowledge.
Therefore, when introduced to the job fair, my friends and I were very eager to participate. During the job fair, I met directly with employers, thereby knowing the requirements of employers to proactively improve, prepare carefully, and strive to meet the needs of the job position right after graduation. My plan is to work for a limited time in Korea. With a good income and the opportunity to learn more about the culinary culture of the land of Kim Chi, developing my career in my homeland in the future will be more favorable for me.
Phan Duc Hai, a student majoring in industrial electricity, Faculty of Electricity and Refrigeration, has just entered his second year of study, in the 3-year program of Ninh Binh College of Mechanics. Hai studied the profession after completing his military service 2 years ago. Hai hopes that after graduation, he will find a suitable job near his home. Therefore, although he still has more than 1 year to graduate, Hai still came to participate in the job fair with the hope of learning more information about the labor market and his future career.
Duc Hai shared: The needs of the labor market in general and of businesses in particular also change in each period. Therefore, in order to promptly adapt to those changes, updating new information is very necessary for those who are learning a trade like me. When communicating directly with employers, the apprentices themselves will know what knowledge and skills need to be changed and supplemented so that when they graduate, they can work immediately without having to spend time relearning...
Ngoc Anh and Duc Hai are two of thousands of students from Ninh Binh College of Mechanics eagerly participating in the job fair. This is also a source of well-trained labor that businesses aim for in the process of implementing recruitment programs. Seizing this opportunity, more than 20 businesses with thousands of recruitment targets were brought to the job fair.

MCNex Vina Co., Ltd. (Phuc Son Industrial Park, Ninh Binh City) is one of the units with the highest recruitment needs, with over 200 job vacancies. Recruitment requirements are quite clear about working hours, job descriptions; policies for employees...
According to the representative of the Company's human resources department, at this job fair, the Company's target audience is skilled workers who have been properly trained, not ordinary workers. Therefore, the consulting program also guides students to suitable job positions.
Also according to the representative of the recruitment agency of MCNex Vina Company Limited, currently, businesses compete with each other on product quality. Therefore, owning a skilled workforce is a huge competitive advantage. To supplement sufficient quantity and ensure the quality of the labor force, the Company regularly carries out large-scale and widespread recruitment campaigns. In those recruitment forms, directly participating in consulting and recruiting at reputable vocational training institutions in the province is a very focused and important "channel", bringing about results that are in line with the wishes of the business.
Mr. Tran Cong Quyen, Director of the Recruitment and Job Introduction Center, Ninh Binh College of Mechanics, said: The Job Fair is an event organized annually by the school in coordination with the Provincial Employment Service Center with the hope of being a bridge for students to directly approach employers.
The businesses participating in the job fair are from many different fields of activity, including many businesses that have the function of sending workers to work abroad for a limited period of time. During the 1-day period, students have access to recruitment information, advice on employment support policies, advice on choosing suitable job positions, promoting their own abilities and strengths with a commensurate salary.
Not only that, this is also an opportunity for students to initially get acquainted with job search procedures, and to consult information about businesses and the working environment.
As for schools, this is also an opportunity to listen to feedback from businesses about the quality of students after training, thereby making appropriate changes in career selection, curriculum development, and teaching plans to suit current labor market trends.
