Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Danh Bang, Chief of Buon Ho Town Police, said that implementing the policy of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security on the implementation of the Project to support the construction of 1,200 houses for poor households, households with housing difficulties, policy families, and ethnic minorities in Dak Lak province, Buon Ho Town Police proactively advised the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee and the Town People's Committee to review and make a list of 50 households eligible for housing support.
The support cost is 80 million VND/house. Of which, the Ministry of Public Security supports 50 million VND/house, Dak Lak province supports 20 million VND/house, and Buon Ho town supports 10 million VND/house.
After a period of construction, up to now 9/50 apartments have been handed over and put into use.
" The donated houses of gratitude are not only a material shelter to help families gradually stabilize their lives, but above all, they are a symbol of solidarity, joint efforts of the government, organizations, armed forces and people standing side by side with poor families to build a brighter future," emphasized Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Danh Bang.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mr. Dang Gia Duan, Chairman of Buon Ho Town People's Committee, hoped that poor and disadvantaged households, policy families, and ethnic minorities who were supported with housing , through their own efforts, along with the attention of the Party, the State, the Ministry of Public Security and the local government, would rise up to escape poverty sustainably, work with peace of mind, comply with the Party's policies and the State's laws, and contribute positively to the town's development in the coming time.
