Since August 2021, the Nam Giang-Dak Taook border gate pair between Quang Nam province and Sekong (Laos) has been upgraded to an international border gate, promoting cross-border trade import and export activities, connecting goods from Laos and Thailand to seaports in the Central region. According to the Management Board of Quang Nam Economic Zones and Industrial Parks, in the first 6 months of 2023, more than 8,700 vehicles cleared customs through the border gate with a total volume of goods up to 57,909 tons; import and export turnover reached 48.45 million USD, an increase of 125% over the same period in 2022. THILOGI is one of the enterprises transporting and circulating the most goods through Nam Giang border gate, contributing to significantly changing the appearance of this border gate.
