Unanimously promulgate regulations on management and use of the Social Security Fund of Bac Ninh province

(BTV) On the morning of December 20, the Provincial Social Security Fund Management Board held a Conference to discuss the contents of the unification of the Regulations on management and use of the Bac Ninh Provincial Social Security Fund, and the plan for using the Fund in 2024-2025. Comrade Nguyen Thi Ha, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Social Security Fund Management Board chaired the Conference.

The Bac Ninh Provincial Social Security Fund was established on the basis of mobilizing voluntary support from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals, operating with the aim of assisting disadvantaged people such as the poor, poor households, near-poor households, people with disabilities, lonely elderly people, orphans, policy families... supporting investment in public welfare infrastructure works in rural areas, used according to the requirements of sponsoring organizations and individuals and in emergency cases under the direction of the province.

At the Conference, delegates exchanged, discussed, agreed, and highly agreed with the draft Regulations. At the same time, they agreed with the content of the draft Report on supporting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. Accordingly, the Party Delegation of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee agreed to use the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels and the Provincial Social Security Fund to support the construction of 77 new houses and the repair of 20 houses with a total cost of 8 billion 700 million VND. The support level is 100 million VND for newly built houses, and 50 million VND for renovated and repaired houses. In the immediate future, the Provincial Social Security Fund will support 50% of the support level for households in need of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses according to the list reported by the Department of Construction. The total initial support cost is 4 billion 350 million VND.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Thi Ha, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Social Security Fund Management Board, said that the Regulations, after receiving consensus from delegates, will soon be issued to promptly provide funds to localities to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. During the implementation process, she requested the Department of Finance to closely coordinate in terms of expertise to ensure that the Fund's funding is used effectively and in accordance with regulations.
