Approved 10/13 dossiers eligible for ranking as provincial-level historical and cultural relics

(Baohatinh.vn) - The recognition of historical and cultural relics at the provincial level of Ha Tinh is the basis for localities and clans to have directions for preserving, embellishing and promoting the value of the relics.

On June 10, the Provincial Council for Review and Ranking of Historical and Cultural Relics (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism) held a meeting to review and rank historical and cultural relics at the provincial level in 2025 for 13 relics in Ha Tinh city and the districts of Can Loc, Thach Ha, Huong Son, Duc Tho and Nghi Xuan.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Truong - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Chairman of the Council for Review and Ranking of Provincial Historical and Cultural Relics in 2025 chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, the authors in charge of building the relic dossier presented the overall content of the scientific dossier proposing the classification of historical and cultural relics for 13 relics in the province.

The records have clearly confirmed that these are historical and cultural relics that play a very important role for the clans, localities in particular and Ha Tinh province in general. Ranking provincial relics is the basis for preserving, embellishing and promoting the value of the relics, while also enhancing the responsibility of the community in preserving cultural values ​​in the spiritual life of the people.

Mr. Tran Hong Dan - former Director of Ha Tinh Museum: The contributions of famous people to their homeland are extremely important factors in the process of reviewing applications.

Members of the Review Council and cultural researchers have contributed many opinions related to the contents mentioned in the records such as: the name of the relic, the title, merits, career and contributions of the famous people worshiped at the churches to the homeland and the country. The data must be confirmed by scientific evidence, ensuring the authenticity of history.

Mr. Doan Dinh Anh - former Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council gave his opinion.

Some opinions suggest that the authors of the dossier should propose specific plans for preserving the relics, ensuring sustainability, and should pay attention to the harmonious balance between the location of the shrines of famous people and the family shrines in the relic complex.

Master Nguyen Tri Son - Chairman of the Provincial Historical Science Association emphasized the need to ensure the scientific and accurate historical data in the records.

Through analysis and evaluation, the Provincial Relic Ranking Review Council unanimously approved 10/13 relics that are eligible for ranking as provincial historical and cultural relics. The remaining 3 dossiers require the authors to fully and seriously absorb the opinions of the Council members to supplement documents, materials, bases, scientific bases, etc.; continue to complete the dossiers to submit to the Standing Council and review members for consideration before June 20, 2025.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Viet Truong - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Chairman of the Council for Approval of Ranking of Provincial Historical and Cultural Relics in 2025 highly appreciated the preparation and dossier building of individuals and units; affirmed that the recognition of provincial-level relics for historical and cultural relics has important significance, and is the basis for localities and clans to have directions for preserving, embellishing and promoting the value of the relics.

The Chairman of the Provincial Council for Review and Classification of Historical and Cultural Relics requested relevant units to accept the comments and suggestions of the Council members, complete the dossier and procedures according to regulations, and submit them to competent authorities for consideration and recognition.
