Approval of the draft Conclusion of the inspection of the implementation of Program 1719 in Dak Lak province

On the morning of December 10, the Ethnic Committee Inspection Delegation led by Comrade Vo Van Bay - Senior Inspector, Chief Inspector of the Ethnic Committee had a working session with the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee to approve the draft Conclusion of the inspection of the implementation of the National Target Program on Socio -Economic Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas for the period 2021 - 2030, Phase I: 2021 - 2025 (referred to as Program 1719) in Dak Lak province.

Receiving and working with the delegation were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kđoh and representatives of relevant departments, branches and localities.

Accordingly, implementing Decision No. 158/QD-TTr, dated April 22, 2024 of the Chief Inspector of the Ethnic Committee, from May 3 to June 24, 2024, the Inspection Team inspected a number of contents related to the implementation of Program 1719 at the Departments: Planning and Investment, Finance,Education and Training, Construction and the Provincial State Treasury, People's Committees of Krong Bong, Lak, M'Drak and Ea Sup districts. The inspection period is from 2021 to the end of 2023.

At the working session, the representative of the Inspection Delegation approved the draft Conclusion of the inspection of the implementation of Program 1719 in the province. Accordingly, in the past time, Dak Lak province has paid attention to, directed, and managed the implementation of the Programs and policies to ensure the set progress; the awareness and responsibility of Party committees and authorities at all levels regarding the Program have had positive changes. The ethnic affairs agencies at the provincial and district levels have basically completed the task of managing the Program, proactively monitoring and grasping the situation to promptly guide, make recommendations, and advise on handling and resolving difficulties and problems in the implementation of the Program. The inspected localities and units have actively and effectively implemented the Program.

At the working session, members of the Inspection Team and representatives of the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches, and localities focused on clarifying and explaining a number of issues related to the issuance of documents to implement the Program; disbursement of Program capital; maintenance of works and projects; inspection and evaluation of effectiveness during the actual implementation process at units and localities...

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Vo Van Bay - Senior Inspector, Chief Inspector of the Ethnic Committee said that Program 1719 is a major policy of the Party and State and has important significance in promoting socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. Comrade Vo Van Bay acknowledged the positive results of the province in implementing Program 1719 and a number of policies in the field of ethnic affairs in recent times.

At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee is requested to continue to direct units and localities to strengthen the focus on implementing Program 1719 and ethnic policies resolutely and effectively; direct departments, branches and sectors to regularly follow the Central's guiding documents to promptly propose and advise the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council to adjust and supplement appropriate regulations. In the process of implementation, if there are any problems or difficulties, it is necessary to promptly synthesize and make recommendations to the Central Ministries and branches to amend and supplement the guiding documents to suit the actual implementation in the locality...
