On the afternoon of April 25th, at Buon Ma Thuot High School, the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training held the closing ceremony of the Vietnamese Language Exchange Competition for preschool children from ethnic minority areas in Dak Lak province, academic year 2024-2025.
The Organizing Committee awarded the overall team flag to the outstanding units.
The Vietnamese Language Exchange Contest for Ethnic Minority Preschool Children in Dak Lak Province is a meaningful and practical activity aimed at promoting and educating children to preserve the cultural identity of their ethnic groups and localities; strengthening Vietnamese language skills for ethnic minority preschool children, contributing to the development of Vietnamese communication skills, language development, and social-emotional development, helping children become more confident in communication; and raising awareness among parents and the community to enhance Vietnamese language skills for ethnic minority children in preschools…
The competition involved 15 teams with approximately 150 participants, including officials, managers, preschool teachers, and 5-6 year old kindergarten children (born in 2019) from ethnic minority groups, representing 15 Education and Training Departments of districts, towns, and cities throughout the province. The teams competed in three rounds: Greetings; Talent; and Knowledge.
The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the teams with outstanding performance in the Greeting segment.
According to the organizers, throughout the competition, the participating teams demonstrated meticulous and serious preparation. Their performances were well-invested in both content and presentation. The teams skillfully combined elements such as music , props, costumes, and illustrative scenes to effectively convey Vietnamese language content. Each performance was a vivid, visually rich story, conveying a clear educational message suitable for preschool children; the children displayed confidence and flexibility in language, and a natural, coherent performance style. In particular, the teams showed flexibility, skill, and creativity in incorporating elements of national culture into their performances. Images of daily life, festivals, and folk games were vividly recreated, not only helping children understand and appreciate the Vietnamese language but also fostering pride in their national cultural identity.
The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the team with outstanding performance in the Talent competition.
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the overall team flag to 6 units that achieved high results, with first prize going to the Education and Training Department of Krong Nang district; second prize to the Education and Training Departments of Lak and Cu Kuin districts; and third prize to the Education and Training Departments of M'Drak, Krong Bong districts and Buon Ma Thuot city.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit to units that achieved high results in the competition. Accordingly, in the Greetings competition, the First Prize went to the Education and Training Department of Krong Nang district; the Second Prize went to the Education and Training Department of M'Drak district; the three Third Prizes went to the Education and Training Departments of Ea Kar, Cu Kuin, and Cu M'gar districts; and the five Consolation Prizes went to the Education and Training Departments of Krong Bong, Krong Ana, Buon Don, Ea Sup, and Lak districts.
For the Talent Competition, the First Prize went to the Department of Education and Training of Buon Ma Thuot City; the two Second Prizes went to the Departments of Education and Training of Buon Don and Ea H'leo; the three Third Prizes went to the Departments of Education and Training of the districts of Krong Ana, Krong Nang, and Ea Kar; and the four Consolation Prizes went to the Departments of Education and Training of the districts of Krong Bong, Krong Buk, M'Drak, and Lak.
The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the teams with outstanding achievements in the Knowledge section of the competition.
For the Knowledge section of the competition, the two first prizes went to the Education and Training Departments of Lak and Cu Kuin districts; the four second prizes went to the Education and Training Departments of Krong Bong, Krong Buk, Buon Ho, and M'Drak districts; and the five third prizes went to the Education and Training Departments of Krong Nang, Krong Pak, Ea Kar, Cu M'gar districts and Buon Ma Thuot city.
The results of the competition are one of the important bases for contributing to the assessment of the current quality of implementation of the Project "Strengthening Vietnamese language preparation for preschool children and primary school students in ethnic minority areas based on the children's mother tongue" giai đoạn 2021-2025.
