During the period 2021-2025, Ea Tul commune implemented Project 1 on supporting land and housing for ethnic minority households, with a total budget of nearly 829 million VND. In addition, the locality allocated funds to support housing construction for 25 poor households, with a total budget of over 1.1 billion VND; of which 1 billion VND came from the central government budget and the remainder from the provincial budget. To date, Ea Tul commune has started construction, completed, and handed over 16 houses to the people for use. Currently, the locality is transferring funds to continue the construction of the remaining 9 houses, expected to be completed and handed over to the households in 2026.

According to Ms. Phan Thi Ly, Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Ea Tul commune, Program 1719 aims to comprehensively improve the lives of people in ethnic minority and mountainous areas through support for housing, land for residence and production, and the implementation of projects and sub-projects suitable to the conditions of each region; thereby contributing to poverty reduction, population stabilization, infrastructure development, education, health, culture, income improvement, ensuring social security, preserving ethnic cultural identity, and strengthening the grassroots political system.
The completion and handover of housing units under Program 1719 has enabled many households in Ea Tul commune to gradually stabilize their lives, work and produce with peace of mind, and contribute to the effective implementation of socio -economic development goals in the locality.
