On April 25, the 18th Special Session of the 10th Provincial People's Council completed the proposed program with 10 important resolutions passed, ensuring the correct principles, order, procedures and requirements according to the direction of the Central Government and the province; legal regulations and practical situation in the locality.

At the meeting, delegates voted unanimously to approve the policy of rearranging commune-level administrative units of the province and the policy of merging the two provinces of Dak Lak - Phu Yen; at the same time, dismissed the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term X, 2021 - 2026 for Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, due to retirement.
Comrade Huynh Thi Chien Hoa - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council delivered the closing speech of the Session.
In her closing speech at the meeting, Comrade Huynh Thi Chien Hoa - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized: In order to successfully implement the resolutions passed by the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee is requested to urgently direct, synthesize and complete the dossier of the project on rearranging administrative units at the provincial and communal levels and submit it to the Ministry of Home Affairs for appraisal in accordance with the requirements of the Central Government. After the project is approved by the competent authority, the Provincial People's Committee is requested to direct relevant departments, branches and localities to seriously and promptly implement it; have plans to arrange and reasonably use working offices, equipment, finance, public assets and infrastructure, avoid waste and loss; promptly ensure the best regimes, policies and conditions for the government and people after the rearrangement; soon stabilize in all aspects, meet the requirements of socio-economic development, national defense and ensure security, social order and safety in the area...
Along with that, direct departments, branches, sectors and localities to urgently and effectively implement the resolutions issued at the session and report the implementation results for the Provincial People's Council to supervise; proactively coordinate with the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council to prepare the program, content and documents to ensure quality and time schedule for the 10th regular session of the 10th Provincial People's Council...

At this session, the Provincial People's Council reviewed projects, submissions, draft resolutions, and appraisal reports; discussed and voted to approve 10 important resolutions. Many of these resolutions were related to budget and investment, such as: assigning revenue and expenditure estimates from funding sources from the state budget in 2025; adjusting and supplementing the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 from local budget capital; deciding on the policy of changing the purpose of forest use to other purposes for the additional area to implement Component Project 2 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Construction Project Phase 1 (section passing through Dak Lak province); the plan to re-borrow foreign loans from the Government and debt repayment sources to invest in the Emission Reduction Project in the Central Highlands and South Central Coast of Vietnam to contribute to implementing the goals of the national REDD+ action program in Dak Lak province...
In addition, a number of resolutions related to mechanisms and policies such as: amending Article 1 of Resolution No. 07/2024/NQ-HDND dated July 12, 2024 of the Provincial People's Council regulating tuition fees from the 2024-2025 school year for public preschool and general education institutions in the province; regulating the level of provincial budget support to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province in 2025...
