Field inspection of construction implementation of key transport projects

On the afternoon of April 22, the Provincial People's Committee organized a working group to inspect the implementation of the construction of Component 3 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project, Phase 1, and the Ho Chi Minh Road Construction Investment Project, the Eastern bypass of Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province (Eastern bypass).

The working delegation was led by Comrade Truong Cong Thai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee with the participation of representatives of the Departments of Construction, Finance, Agriculture and Environment, Industry and Trade; Provincial Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Transport Works and Rural Development; People's Committees of districts and cities where the project passes through.

The working group inspected the field at the starting point of the Eastern bypass at Km0+00, intersecting with National Highway 14, Cuor Dang commune, Cu M'gar district; the starting point of Component Project 3, Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway, in Cu ELang commune, Ea Kar district, Dak Lak province; the intersection point of Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway with the Eastern bypass, in Hoa Dong commune, Krong Pac district, Dak Lak province; the end point of the Eastern bypass, in Hoa Phu commune, Buon Ma Thuot city.

The working delegation of the Provincial People's Committee listened to the contractor's representative report on construction progress.

During the inspection, the working group listened to contractors, localities, and related units report on the progress, as well as some difficulties and obstacles in the project implementation process. Specifically, for Component Project 3 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project Phase 1, the relocation of residential power lines, low-voltage lines, and power lines across the expressway has not been completed, which are temporarily supported, causing unsafety, affecting the construction process, transportation of materials along the route as well as the aesthetics of the project; the designed site clearance area for the CT.02 intersection branch road, Km98+716 culvert discharge gate, and Dan Sinh 4 bridge in Tan Tien commune has not been completed...

Regarding the Ho Chi Minh Road Construction Investment Project, the eastern bypass of Buon Ma Thuot City, up to now, there is still 0.113km of land clearance remaining in Cu M'gar district due to problems related to the district's land use plan and planning until 2030; land clearance for the current canal system has not been completed, there are still some locations of water canal No. 05 at Km15+511, No. 06 at Km17+511 in Cu Kuin district; land clearance has not been completed for households that have not yet received compensation in Ea Kao commune and Hoa Phu commune in Buon Ma Thuot city.

Comrade Truong Cong Thai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that construction units continue to maintain and increase human resources and equipment, take advantage of favorable weather to speed up construction progress before the rainy season comes; at the same time, coordinate with localities and related sectors to remove difficulties and obstacles; the Provincial Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic Works and Rural Development and localities synthesize arising problems beyond their authority, promptly report to the Provincial People's Committee for handling.
