“The coaching staff of the U23 Vietnam team will analyze the video footage and the playing style of the U23 Indonesia team to come up with a tactical plan. The U23 Vietnam team has the strongest squad for the final match,” said a member of the U23 Vietnam team.

The final match of the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship between U23 Vietnam and U23 Indonesia will take place on July 29 in Jakarta. In preparation, coach Kim Sang-sik is currently having the players practice recovery to ensure the best physical condition.

According to the plan, at 6pm this afternoon, July 27, the team will have a tactical training session in Jakarta. Coach Kim Sang-sik will then start to train the team in tactics and test the lineup. Some cases of minor injuries during the group stage and semi-final matches, such as Pham Ly Duc, have stabilized.

The confrontation with U23 Indonesia is expected to be difficult. The home team, after the victory over U23 Thailand in the semi-finals, is full of excitement and determination to win the championship for the first time. Meanwhile, U23 Vietnam is aiming to defend the championship, and also the third time if they win.

Facing a fast and tough opponent, coach Kim Sang-sik is currently focusing on stabilizing the midfield as well as requiring the defense to play with maximum concentration. The forward line, which has missed many opportunities in the last 3 matches, has also been carefully "tuned". Successfully defending the Southeast Asian U23 Championship trophy will be a good stepping stone for U23 Vietnam to confidently head towards the 33rd SEA Games, taking place in Thailand later this year.

Mr. Kim Sang-sik will be miserable if U23 Vietnam cannot improve this weakness.
