Male student Tran Van The Luc scored 29 points, is the valedictorian of block B00 of Ha Tinh province.

With excellent achievements, being directly admitted to the Faculty of Dentistry - Maxillofacial Surgery of Hanoi Medical University, Luc still wants to affirm his own ability by conquering high scores in the high school graduation exam.

Sharing with VietNamNet , Luc said he was not surprised to know that he got a high score, but only felt a little regretful because he subjectively made mistakes on not-so-difficult questions in Chemistry and Biology, so he did not get the maximum score.

“Becoming the candidate with the highest score in block B00 in Ha Tinh province, I was really surprised, because in reality I didn't have much time to review knowledge for the graduation exam and I had gaps in knowledge in Math and Biology,” Luc said.

The male student shared that after the national excellent student exam ended in January 2025, he and his classmates started to review knowledge to prepare for the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Luc said that as a student in a specialized Chemistry class, he spent most of his time studying for the national excellent student in Chemistry, so when he started studying for the graduation exam and getting university entrance scores in block B00, Luc was not confident, and even lacked a lot of knowledge in Math and Biology.

Achieving high results in the national excellent student exam in Chemistry, The Luc won a place in a prestigious university.

To improve his knowledge in these two subjects, in the "sprint" stage of the exam, Luc applied the national excellent student exam review method to his graduation exam review. He focused on self-study, mastered the knowledge of each subject, practiced test questions and listened to feedback from teachers to adjust and supplement the missing knowledge. Luc spent about 3-4 hours a day to supplement the weak knowledge, set a goal of practicing 2 test questions in each subject each day and persevered to complete it.

During the exam preparation process, I limit staying up late, maintain a scientific study schedule, and spend a lot of time playing sports to both improve my health and reduce exam pressure.

“Although I was admitted directly to Hanoi Medical University, I studied and entered the graduation exam with the determination to get the highest score possible,” Luc said.

Thanks to scientific methods and constant efforts, Luc made a spectacular breakthrough in the graduation exam. With a score of 29 in block B00 and the bonus points for national excellent student achievements, Luc was sure to get a "ticket" to the Faculty of Medicine at Hanoi Medical University - the most prestigious school in the country for medical training.

Talking about Luc, teacher Nguyen Van Tho, homeroom teacher of the 12th grade Chemistry class, expressed his pride when his student became the valedictorian of the whole province in block B00.

According to Mr. Tho, Luc is an intelligent student, meticulous in his studies. Although he did not have much time to review for the graduation exam, with his qualities, along with choosing a scientific review method, he successfully finished the exam and the results have proven Luc's constant efforts.

“Not only is Luc intelligent and a good student, he is also loved by teachers and friends for his gentle, humble personality and responsibility towards the class. I believe that with his abilities, he will be more successful in his new goals,” said Mr. Tho.
