Sharing the difficulties of schools
Accordingly, the Deputy Minister and the working delegation visited, encouraged, and shared difficulties with teachers and students of An Dinh Primary School (Tuy An Bac commune).

Reporting to the Deputy Minister, Principal Huynh Ngoc Giang Chau said that the recent historic flood caused flooding to the 2nd floor of more than 1.2m. All teaching equipment, ceiling systems (drop ceiling panels) of 10 classrooms and all offices were swept away. The entire computer room with 30 sets of machines was damaged, all equipment, textbooks, stories... of the Friendly Equipment and Library room were wet and damaged. 2 water tanks of 2 student and teacher restrooms were swept away. Total damage was about 865 million VND.
After listening to the school principal report on the total damage after storm No. 13 and two deep floods, Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung sympathized with the mounting difficulties of the school's teachers and students.

"I have seen it in the press and on television, but when I heard the principal describe it, the water rose to more than 1.2 meters above the second floor, I realized more clearly the terrible extent of the storm and flood. The difficulties are too obvious. I hope teachers will unite and work together to overcome the difficulties and soon stabilize teaching for the sake of our beloved students," said the Deputy Minister.
Prioritize safety for students and teachers
According to Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung, in order to organize teaching and learning, the safety of students and teachers is the top priority. Specifically, the electrical system, ceiling panels... are all damaged. The school needs to repair and replace the electrical system, remove all iron bars hanging ceiling panels in classrooms, to avoid teachers and students falling while teaching. At the same time, fully count the damage, request competent authorities to support, soon rebuild the school, ensure learning conditions for children in the area.

"After the flood, students and teachers must not be disadvantaged. Today, when I came to school, I saw teachers from the West of the province and benefactors coming to give gifts. They were very timely and meaningful, but most of them were worried about their students. Therefore, the Board of Directors needs to encourage and care for the families of teachers in the school. For any family that suffered damage, there must be a plan to propose support. We must make teachers feel warm and have enough motivation to continue to overcome all difficulties in teaching," the Deputy Minister emphasized.
