Premier Li Qiang said China is willing to further cooperate with Russia, promote better mutual understanding and closer ties between the two peoples, and consolidate the foundation of people-to-people friendship in bilateral relations.
Premier Li Qiang also said that China wants to work closely with Russia to implement the outcomes of the recent Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit, to create a practical model of the Global Governance Initiative, and make greater contributions to peace and development in the region and the world.
Meanwhile, President Putin said the Russia-China comprehensive strategic partnership of partnership is at an unprecedented high level, noting that Russia is willing to maintain close high-level exchanges with China, promote cooperation in economy and trade, energy, agriculture and infrastructure, and deepen people-to-people exchanges.
He added that Russia hopes to further strengthen cooperation and coordination with China within multilateral frameworks such as the SCO and BRICS, to safeguard regional and global peace and stability.
