Promoting delicious dishes from Ca Mau crab

On the evening of November 18, the Food Festival - Ca Mau Crab Festival officially opened at the Youth Cultural House (No. 4 Pham Ngoc Thach, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

This is one of the activities of the "Hello Ca Mau" Festival jointly organized by the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

With a scale of 100 booths, the space of the Food Festival - Ca Mau Crab Festival is arranged into four main areas: Exhibition area displaying models, images and unique symbols of Ca Mau.

In particular, the area displays and introduces regional specialties and connects trade to introduce and promote OCOP products, Ca Mau specialties, and typical products of Ho Chi Minh City and organizes activities to connect the consumption of Ca Mau crab products.

The cultural and artistic exchange stage area organizes performances related to Ca Mau culture such as amateur music, folk songs of the river delta, costume shows, stories about the sea and crab professions, promising to bring new and rich experiences to the people of Ho Chi Minh City as well as domestic and foreign tourists.

In particular, the processing and introduction area of ​​Ca Mau's unique cuisine includes demonstrations and introductions of crab and seafood dishes, as well as organizing trial experiences and instructions on how to prepare crab products.

The activity of promoting crab dishes and specialties of provinces and cities has the participation of famous artisans and chefs from Ca Mau and Ho Chi Minh City. This activity lasts from November 17 to 21, promising to bring not only delicious dishes, but also stories about people, land and the spirit of solidarity and creativity of the ethnic groups.

With the participation of many small traders displaying special products from Ca Mau and booths processing crab dishes, the festival has become an unmissable highlight these days in Ho Chi Minh City.

Visitors also have the opportunity to meet artisans and businesses, learn about the journey of building a brand and preserving the culinary identity of the southernmost region.

Ca Mau Crab Festival is not only an opportunity for people in Ho Chi Minh City to enjoy special dishes, but also a great opportunity to introduce famous specialties of Ca Mau land.
