The project includes synchronized architectural languages, signs, and objects, using unique patterns as highlights; initially shaping the architecture - landscape, synchronizing, using unique patterns as highlights for the identity of Kim Ngan Communal House, organizing functional spaces to express the depth of traditional crafts.

Sharing at the ceremony, Ms. Ngo Thi Thuy Duong - Head of the Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter said that the Hanoi Old Quarter area, located in Hoan Kiem Ward, with more than 100 relics is a National Monument, is a "spiritual home" - where the flow of culture still flows in every street, every roof.
This is a place that still preserves a network of religious and belief structures with many communal houses of historical, cultural and architectural value. The communal houses in the old quarter reflect the historical elements of an urban area with rural - agricultural origins. The architectural space of the communal houses in Hanoi's old quarter also has its own characteristics, clearly reflecting the formation and development process of the old quarter, contributing to creating the identity of Thang Long - Dong Do - Hanoi.
Nowadays, many communal houses worshiping the ancestors of the craft in the old quarter are still meeting points, creating close community relationships based on connections with the original village, integrating the quintessence of many craft villages in the North of our country.

“ Cultural heritage is an endless resource to develop the cultural industry, especially cultural tourism . We have made efforts to turn relics into “ cultural spaces ” , where educational and interactive activities take place to convey and spread those values to the community ” , Ms. Thuy Duong emphasized.
The project “Kim Ngan Communal House Storytelling Space” focuses on exploiting the aesthetic and cultural values from the traditional pattern system, thereby building a new identity language for Kim Ngan Communal House. The space is organized in the direction of synchronizing the architecture of the signboard, objects and displays, recreating the historical depth of the goldsmith guild, a typical profession of the old Hang Bac street.
The project also creates a storytelling space using artifacts and traditional customs, introducing the quintessence of gold and silver jewelry, horn making and items demonstrating the talented hands of Ke Cho artisans.

In addition, the project presents new applications of Kim Ngan Communal House patterns in the design of tourism publications, identity sets, cultural gifts and souvenirs. This is a modern approach to bring heritage into contemporary life, helping the community to access heritage in a more youthful and closer way.
In particular, “Kim Ngan Communal House Storytelling Space” is expected to become a model to be replicated in other relics in Hanoi's Old Quarter, aiming to synchronize the cultural heritage space, and create a premise for sustainable tourism development through cultural - tourism - commercial products associated with heritage experiences.

Within the framework of the project, the heritage music program “Old Town Music Story” performed by Dong Kinh Co Nhac on the evening of November 22 at Kim Ngan Communal House promises to recreate the quintessence of ancient Vietnamese music in a unique cultural space.
In addition, workshops on printing ancient motifs with Thanh Lieu woodblocks and making souvenirs from silk, wood, and Do paper will create opportunities for the public to directly participate in preserving and promoting heritage values. These activities not only enliven the Old Quarter but also serve as a bridge for traditional cultural values to spread more widely in the community and to international visitors.
