At the reception, President and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes Stephanie Pope welcomed the President and the Vietnamese delegation to visit the Group's headquarters in Seattle, considering this a great honor and also a testament to the increasingly close cooperative relationship between the United States and Vietnam.
Discussing Boeing's strategy and cooperation commitments with Vietnam, Ms. Stephanie Pope affirmed that she will continue to work with leaders of Vietnamese airlines to gradually concretize agreements between the two sides, thereby continuing to consolidate and further strengthen the cooperative relationship with Vietnamese partners.
According to Ms. Stephanie Pope, Vietnam currently has 17 Boeing aircraft that the national airline Vietnam Airlines is operating and Vietjet has signed a contract to buy more than 200 aircraft, of which the first ones were delivered on this occasion. This is proof that the Southeast Asian market plays a very important role for Boeing.

Agreeing with the opinion of Boeing Chairman and CEO, President Luong Cuong affirmed that the Vietnam - US relationship is developing strongly, especially after the two countries upgraded to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (2023); and with a dynamically developing economy , Vietnam will become one of the potential markets for Boeing's modern aircraft lines.
Appreciating Boeing's business achievements as well as its cooperation and support for Vietnam in recent times, the President expressed his delight at learning that Boeing had completed the procedures for handing over new aircraft to Vietnamese partners; at the same time, he asked Boeing to continue to coordinate closely to complete and deliver signed orders on schedule, with an effective operating roadmap and financial plan.

The President expressed his impression of the strong development of Boeing Corporation, the world's leading manufacturer of quality aircraft, whose modern technology has been exploited effectively by corporations and private groups in Vietnam, enhancing economic connectivity and contributing to the country's socio-economic development.
Regarding Boeing's commitments to accompany Vietnam's development, the President suggested that Boeing soon research and invest in component manufacturing plants, as well as build regional-scale aircraft, machinery and equipment maintenance centers linked to major airports, thereby serving not only the Vietnamese market, but also the entire Southeast Asian region; at the same time, creating conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to gradually participate in Boeing's global supply chain, strengthening the foundation of sustainable and long-term cooperation between the two sides.

The President affirmed that Vietnam will create all favorable conditions, in accordance with the law, for US investors in general and the Boeing Group in particular to invest and do business effectively and sustainably in Vietnam.
