Further promoting Vietnam - Qatar relations

At the talks, the two sides affirmed their desire and determination to further promote the friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Qatar.

Regarding economic cooperation, the two leaders said that the two countries still have much potential to promote cooperation in many fields. Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan suggested that Qatar create conditions for Vietnam's strong export products such as agricultural products, seafood, processed foods, etc. to access distribution channels and large supermarket systems in Qatar. Qatar's Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Thani agreed with this proposal, emphasizing that the State of Qatar prioritizes strengthening trade, investment and agricultural cooperation with Vietnam.

On this occasion, according to VNA, the Vice President conveyed President Vo Van Thuong's invitation to Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani to visit Vietnam soon in 2023.
