The highlight of the ceremony was the flying of a 2,025m² national flag by hot air balloon – an activity held for the first time in Nghe An, licensed and closely supervised by the General Staff of the Ministry of National Defense in terms of technical aspects and flight safety. The brightly colored balloon symbolized the nation's aspirations for peace, development, and integration.
In a solemn atmosphere, the contingent of soldiers, civilians, and students, dressed in neat uniforms, faced the national flag fluttering in the blue sky, expressing their profound respect and gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh – the great son of Nghe An province.

The flag-raising ceremony and the flying of the national flag is not only a sacred ritual, but also an opportunity to educate about patriotic traditions, awaken the spirit of national unity, national pride, and the responsibility of today's generation in building and developing the homeland in the new era.
