Promoting cooperation in training and fostering officials between Vietnam and Indonesia

Also attending were comrade Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

At the reception, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang and Mr. H. TB. Ace Hasan Syadzily, M. Si shared a lot of information and outstanding cooperation results between the two countries, between the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and LEMHANNAS Academy over many decades on the solid foundation of the traditional friendship established by President Ho Chi Minh and President Sukarno, and continuously cultivated by generations of leaders and people of the two countries.

Emphasizing the historical significance of Indonesia being the first country in Southeast Asia to establish diplomatic relations with Vietnam and Vietnam being Indonesia's first Comprehensive Strategic Partner in ASEAN (established by General Secretary To Lam and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in March 2025), the Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics expressed his agreement, together with the President of the LEMHANNAS Academy, to realize the cooperation programs between the two Academies, continuing to contribute practically to the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Indonesia diplomatic relations (December 30, 1955 - December 30, 2025), and enhancing the cooperative relationship between the two countries to become more comprehensive and extensive.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang agreed with Mr. H. TB. Ace Hasan Syadzily, M. Si on the specific contents and solutions to promote cooperation between the two Academies in policy research, staff training, exchanges to enhance understanding of public administration models, foreign policy planning and regional security governance of the two countries.

* After the reception, the two delegations of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the LEMHANNAS Academy had a discussion on the process of transforming Vietnam's education system to strengthen the development of high-quality human resources to serve the development goals until 2045; experiences, policies, and cooperation models in training and developing high-quality human resources.
