Over the years, cooperation in education and training between the two sides has always been interested, focused on and achieved many important achievements. In particular, many Vietnamese students and trainees have studied and worked in the Federal Republic of Germany, including the city of Leipzig, in the state of Sachsen.
Leipzig City has cooperated with many countries and major cities in the world , including Vietnam, in the fields of education, training and employment in key industries. However, one of the biggest obstacles in the cooperation process is the language factor. Therefore, Mr. Clemens Schulke hopes that German language training will be promoted in Vietnam to meet the basic requirements for studying and working in the Federal Republic of Germany.
Mr. Clemens Schulke spoke at the reception.
“That will create conditions for Vietnamese students and workers to integrate into life, study and work more effectively in the Federal Republic of Germany and the city of Leipzig. We are ready to cooperate and support Vietnam with lecturers, teachers and German language materials for teaching and learning,” Mr. Clemens Schulke shared.
Welcoming Mr. Clemens Schulke and his delegation to visit Vietnam and work with the Ministry of Education and Training, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Phuc informed: In Vietnam, there are currently more than 240 universities, training more than 2 million students in diverse and flexible professions. Vietnam is a country with a young population and has strengths in training in fields such as information technology, computer science , mathematics, electricity, mechanics, nursing, tourism, etc.
According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Phuc, the language factor plays an important role in training human resources to meet the needs of the high-quality labor market. That requires countries to further promote deep and wide cooperation in the field of education and training. Especially, there are agreements and orders in language training.
