For his part, Prime Minister Han Duck Soo conveyed the deep condolences of President Yoon Suk-yeol of the Republic of Korea to the State and people of Vietnam and the family of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; affirmed that the achievements and contributions of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong for the development of Vietnam and the friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea will always be remembered by the people of the two countries.
Prime Minister Han Duck Soo highly appreciated Vietnam's role and position in the region and the world; affirmed that Korea always considers Vietnam an important partner in Korea's foreign policy and a key partner in implementing regional policies such as the Indo-Pacific Strategy and the ASEAN-Korea Solidarity Initiative; and wishes to work with Vietnam to develop the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries in depth, substance and effectiveness both bilaterally and multilaterally.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hopes that Korean enterprises will continue to expand their investment in Vietnam in both breadth and depth, in key industries and future industries such as semiconductors, digital transformation, green economy, circular economy, high technology, renewable energy, artificial intelligence (AI); continue to increase the scale of non-refundable aid to Vietnam, consider lending large credit packages with preferential interest rates for strategic transport infrastructure such as the construction of high-speed railways and urban railways; along with that, expand cooperation in responding to climate change, cooperation in labor, education, culture, tourism and people-to-people exchange, strengthen local cooperation, pay attention to supporting and creating favorable conditions for each other's citizens.
Prime Minister Han Duck Soo assessed Vietnam as a potential investment destination with nearly 10,000 Korean enterprises investing in Vietnam; proposed to continue creating favorable conditions for Korean enterprises to invest and expand their investment scale in Vietnam; thanked the Vietnamese leaders for their attention in promoting the organization of dialogues, removing difficulties, and creating favorable conditions for Korean enterprises to invest in Vietnam; and wished to develop the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with Vietnam in a more in-depth, substantive and effective manner in the coming time.
* On the morning of July 25, at the National Funeral House, President To Lam received Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval after he represented the Indian Government to pay his respects at the State Funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
On behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Government and people of India, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval expressed his deep condolences on the passing of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and conveyed his best regards and condolences to President To Lam, the leaders of the Party, State and people of Vietnam. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval affirmed that India always appreciates the valuable support and important contributions of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to the development of Vietnam-India relations; expressed his belief that President To Lam, together with the leaders of Vietnam, will continue to develop the country, inheriting the valuable legacy left by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

*On the same morning, at the National Funeral House, President To Lam received Algerian Minister of Veterans and Meritorious People Laid Rebigua who came to attend the State Funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
At the reception, President To Lam expressed his emotion upon receiving the condolence letter from Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. The President thanked the Algerian delegation for attending the State Funeral, emphasizing that Vietnam will always cherish and remember the precious sentiments of the Government and people of Algeria. The President affirmed that Vietnam consistently implements an independent and self-reliant foreign policy, attaching importance to the friendly and cooperative relations with traditional friends in Africa, especially Algeria.
Algerian Minister of Veterans and Meritorious People Laid Rebigua said that the Algerian Government and people are deeply saddened by the passing of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong - an outstanding leader of the Vietnamese people, who wholeheartedly served and devoted himself to the Vietnamese Fatherland in many different positions.
