According to Mr. Do Truong Duy, Director of the National Center for Health Information, Ministry of Health, in the past 2 years, digital transformation in healthcare has made great strides. In particular, in 2025, the healthcare sector recorded many milestones in digital transformation such as the implementation of electronic medical records.
Therefore, the signing of cooperation with the Vietnam Private Medical Practitioners Association will jointly carry out the task of guiding the private medical practice system in the digitalization roadmap, creating data, and applying information technology in the profession. The Center will cooperate with the association to develop a shared digital platform for the health sector, ensuring data security.

According to Professor, Dr. Phan Van Tuong, former Director of the Institute for Training and Development of Health Management Staff, Permanent Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Private Medical Practitioners Association, today's event is the concretization of the Party and State's policy, especially in the spirit of Resolution 68-NQ/TW and Resolution 57-NQ/TW, affirming the role of private healthcare in diversifying services and reducing the burden on public healthcare.
The Vietnam Private Medical Practitioners Association will work with the National Health Information Center to apply digital transformation management and technology to serve people's health care. Accordingly, the two sides will promote digital transformation in healthcare, enhance digital transformation applications through seminars, training courses and especially support the implementation of electronic medical records, remote medical consultation, clinic management software, etc. to ensure compliance with the general direction of the Ministry of Health.

The Association will provide training on quality management processes in the private health system. With technical support from the Center, it will help the private health system improve service quality and strengthen compliance with the law.
"This is the foundation for the two sides to continue to build more detailed cooperation programs and projects in the future. The Vietnam Association of Private Medical Practitioners is committed to seriously fulfilling its responsibilities and making every effort to turn this cooperation into a real driving force, contributing to the success of the digital transformation and people's health care career," said Mr. Pham Van Tuong.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Professor, Dr. Tran Van Thuan, Deputy Minister of Health, emphasized that the cooperation between the National Health Information Center and the Vietnam Association of Private Health Practitioners is not simply about coordinating software deployment or data sharing, but is a directional step, aiming to lay the foundation for a modern, effective and equitable digital health ecosystem.
The Deputy Minister requested units to urgently concretize cooperation contents into clear action plans, with feasible roadmaps, specific goals and close coordination mechanisms.

The National Health Information Center needs to continue to play a pivotal role in building digital infrastructure for the health sector, ensuring information security, data interconnection and technical guidance. The Vietnam Private Health Practitioners Association should become a trusted bridge, spreading knowledge, promoting the application of technology standards throughout the system, especially in small private facilities, so that no facility or patient is left behind in the process of medical modernization.
