The project is implemented to achieve the goal of proposing solutions to promote innovation in enterprises, serving the socio-economic development of Hai Phong city. During 20 months, the project implementation team will implement research contents such as: Theoretical basis and practical experience on innovation in enterprises; Current status of innovation in enterprises in Hai Phong city; Proposing solutions for innovation in enterprises in Hai Phong city in the new context; Draft project on innovation in enterprises in Hai Phong city to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.
To serve the research content, the implementation team will collect , classify, and systematize domestic and foreign documents related to innovation in enterprises; organize scientific seminars to exchange and discuss theoretical and practical issues of innovation activities in enterprises, research approaches and methods, data collection tools on innovation in enterprises in Hai Phong as well as emerging issues, opportunities and challenges for promoting innovation in enterprises today. Along with that, the team will conduct investigations and surveys to collect databases, the scope of the survey includes: departments, branches; some universities; research centers/institutes; enterprises in Hai Phong.

Through the research group's presentation, the Advisory Council made many contributions, namely: It is necessary to supplement and update new information and data on innovation activities in enterprises to provide appropriate and effective solutions in implementing tasks; focusing on small and medium enterprises when researching. In addition to the fields that play a leading role in Hai Phong's economic growth, such as high-tech industry, seaports - logistics, tourism - trade, it is necessary to supplement research on innovation activities in the agricultural sector, a strong industry of Hai Phong after the merger with Hai Duong. At the same time, it is necessary to propose a model of innovation in enterprises, pilot implementation, from which to apply and replicate in enterprises in Hai Phong.
At the end of the Conference, the Advisory Council unanimously approved the research task and requested the unit in charge of the task to receive comments, edit and complete the dossier in accordance with regulations so that the Department of Science and Technology can submit it to the City People's Committee for approval and implementation in the coming time./.
